Wieża Babel

Tower of Babel

Report from RV session on "What was the mythical Tower of Babel described in the Bible and what did the fall and confusion of languages described there really consist of?"

According to my perception, it was a shiny, metal physical object, the size of a building, carrying some universal message in many languages (should this be considered hitting the target 🤔?). It came from an older civilization, it reminds me of  the Emerald Tablet or (much later) the Rosetta Stone. There were also images of pyramids in Egypt (or the Sumerian Ziggurat?), but as a similar function or symbolism. Although considering the Great Pyramid of Giza: it itself is a great and universal geometric and astronomical message, so maybe the Tower of Babel was something similar or even identical? I understand "confusion of languages" as the fall of one highly developed civilization and the emergence of many smaller and more "primitive" ones in its place. As the fall of the object, I see the rise in the water level, and finally it was deliberately destroyed by a less advanced descendant people, perhaps for religious reasons.

It was not a typical city, because I do not sense any residential functions there, which is why my vision differs from the biblical one. This does not surprise me at all, because many biblical accounts were copied and transformed from much older texts, e.g. Sumerian, for example the vision of the flood (Epic of Gilgamesh). We can therefore assume that many stories are widely changed and cannot be translated literally.

Tower of Babel

Transcript:

  • angular, 4-cornered, triangular, geometric figure: artificial, hard, angular, regular, sharp corners, metal, shiny. Triangle turned with the vertex down. Metal triangular object, sharp,
  • stiff, alien, repulsive, maybe even dangerous. Cold metal to the touch, smooth, like a metal plate, some noble, stainless. Perfectly polished surface, like a mirror, unattainable smoothness,
  • AOL: triangular object - UFO/UAP ship, (comment: another Viewer describes: "a large structure, as if it gave the impression of a spider, with legs. as if it stood on such "legs" and could even move" and "the upper part of this structure was supposed to be shot into the air/space or serve as something that helps in shooting other objects into the air"),
  • some metal object, geometric solid, polygon, has sharp corners, angles. AOL: the cube stands on 1 corner. Hexagon: the solid has triangle sides. The object has a metal shell,
  • AOL: it looks like it's standing on 1 leg,

Cube, polygon

M (Monitor): Ok focus on this shape and describe in more detail what it looks like?

  • AOL: a building with a metal angular multi-pitched roof, but more of a sculpture of an angular block standing on one corner,
  • looks like a heavy piece of metal, a regular shiny metallic crystal,

M: How big does it seem, are there any reference points?

  • it still reminds me of a sculpture the size of a building, comparable in size.

M: What does this shape of the examined object represent and express in your perception?

  • regular geometric shape,
  • a majestic impression, an immobile object, permanently attached,

M: focus on perceiving the purpose for which the examined object was established and investigate the fate of the examined object.

  • AOL: metal monolith, mass. Work of human hands, sculpture, artificial object, symbol,
  • AOL: There were these metal monoliths appearing in different places, they were just ordinary sheet metal structures,
  • AOL: Emerald Tablet of Thoth, such a stone. AOL: Rosetta stoneseveral different languages, engraved text.
  • text, symbols, hieroglyphs, written language. A message for posterity, but I sense more than 1 language, as if it were a universal message,
  • Egypt, all the time these areas, AOL: now that I've seen the Great Pyramid, it's almost all over... But I feel more like a flat board, a tablet with inscriptions, for example between the paws of the Sphinx next to the pyramid, or a library of knowledge under the Sphinx, such areas,
  • AOL: basalt blocks in Indonesia, now various associations will come to mind...
  • construction: manifestation of knowledge, power and authority,
  • there is something encoded, like language, or a mathematical, geometric universal message,

Solid, monolith

M: focus on this now, who was most bothered by the object examined today?

  • AOL: first association: Taliban who destroyed Buddha statues in Afghanistan with grenade launchers,
  • "more primitive" religion tries to appropriate, destroy the ancient heritage,

M: ok now move on to observing the final scene, how was the development of the tested object stopped?

  • nature, flooding, rising water levels. AOL: flooded grand staircases or terraces in Japan,
