During (mental) journeys to various non-physical, energetic or astral worlds, or generally any world other than our physical one 😀, you can encounter and interact with various beings (consciousnesses). Here is a short guide "from non-physical life" that may prove useful. Although, when I read it myself, it seems to me that the guide is 100% true also in our present earthly life in relation to people...
1. If the creature needs to receive something from you in exchange for e.g. information:
This means that the creature is not much higher level than you and has limited resources. He may be someone trying to make something for himself. If he keeps you in ignorance, uncertainty and expects something from you, he most likely wants to use you without taking your good into account.
Of course, you can always conduct barter with equal benefits for both parties (win-win strategy), but this requires full transparency of intentions and actions.
BTW: Have you ever wondered why most "gods" wish to make "sacrifices"? Well, now you know what "deities" are and how to classify them. And religions still maintain it...
2. If the creature treats you childishly and claims that you have no right to information, independence, your own independent decisions and actions, because you are like a child and you don't know anything:
This is a standard tactic of masters towards slaves, in which those who consider themselves superior justify their oppressive actions as a necessary care for inferiors. Despotic rulers and slave owners claim they are doing them a favor because of their disabilities and dependence, while actively denying them access to information and opportunities for advancement. It's clear who benefits in this relationship...
3. If the entity continually emphasizes our uniqueness and magnificence and the outstanding role we have to play:
It is a tickling of the recipient's ego, which may lead to loss of vigilance or objective assessment of the situation, manipulation or even some kind of addiction. You can always accept and return a compliment, but you need to be aware of the scale of the phenomenon.
4. If the creature is joking:
A sense of humor is somehow very unique, rarely anyone has it 😁, sometimes I feel like it's mostly people (and not everyone). This is an indicator that the entity may be worth talking to. Or to put it another way: if consciousness has no sense of humor, no feelings or positive emotions, and acts soullessly, almost like a machine or an android, then we cannot expect positive interactions from it.
5. If beings treat us honestly, openly, sincerely, as partners, without expectations and demands:
