Remote Viewing (RV) = Remote Seeing or rather Remote Receiving. It is a telepathic technique of receiving remote information that we do not normally have access to using the 5 physical senses. This is one of the ESP (extrasensory perception) methods.
The RV session is done completely blind = without knowing the target!

AOL = Analytical Overlay: the phenomenon of data being "tossed" by a part of the mind called the Interpreter, camouflage, "mental noise". It is good when during a Remote Viewing session we realize which information received is not original, but only recreated. But it's always worth writing them down, because they may turn out to be right!

The Akashic Records: a compendium of all universal events, thoughts, words, emotions and intentions that have ever occurred in the past, present or future regarding all beings and life forms, not only human. Theosophists believe that the Akashic Records are encoded on a non-physical plane of existence known as the mental plane. 
Akasha (ākāśa आकाश) is a Sanskrit word meaning "ether", "sky" or "atmosphere".

Synchronism: The phenomenon of two or more participants in a Remote Viewing session reporting similar or identical information about a target being studied. Important: 

• the research is done blindly, i.e. the topic is unknown until the very end, 
• participants (viewers) have no contact with each other, only text contact with the Monitor, which does not reveal anything,

Frequent cases of synchronicity make the information obtained using Remote Viewing more credible, as the chances of the reception being distorted by the mind of an individual participant are reduced (AOL = Analytical Overlay).
